ACTEGA to showcase latest package printing technologies at LOUPE Americas 2026

ACTSmart Infusion Film Ink System, ACTDigi LEP Primer, SafeShield UV-LED inks and ECOLEAF will headline the company’s exhibit.

ACTDigi LEP Primer is designed to deliver flawless ink adhesion and advanced embellishments across a broad range of substrates.

ACTEGA will showcase its latest coatings, inks, primers and embellishment technologies at LOUPE Americas 2026, September 15-17 in Chicago. Exhibiting in booth 519, the company will focus on solutions designed to help label and packaging converters address print performance, regulatory compliance, productivity and sustainability requirements.

Among the technologies featured will be the new ACTSmart Infusion Film Ink System, a water-based solution for shrink and surface printing on supported and unsupported films and plastics. The self-crosslinking shrink ink system eliminates the need for a catalyst typically required to achieve adhesion, flexibility and water resistance, simplifying ink management and press-side operations.

According to ACTEGA, ACTSmart supports press speeds exceeding 700 fpm and, following a standard 24-hour cure, can provide the physical and chemical performance required for demanding shrink applications, including heat resistance above 300° F and resistance to water and soap.

ACTEGA will also feature ACTDigi LEP Primer, developed in partnership with HP for the HP Indigo 6K, 6K+ and 8K Digital Press series. The water-based primer is designed to improve ink adhesion and print quality across coated and uncoated papers, synthetics and metallized substrates while supporting advanced embellishment applications.

For applications requiring low-migration technologies, ACTEGA will showcase its SafeShield UV-LED inks. Designed for indirect food contact, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging, the ink range is formulated to address multiple regulatory requirements while helping converters manage increasingly complex compliance demands.

Also on display will be ECOLEAF, ACTEGA’s on-demand metallization technology. The technology is designed to create metallic decoration while reducing the amount of material and associated carbon emissions compared with conventional metallic embellishment processes.

“Converters today are under pressure to strike an uncompromising and critical balance between productivity, regulatory compliance and print quality,” says Mell C Bishop III, global market manager labels at ACTEGA in North America. “As such, we’re focused on helping our customers navigate these increasingly complex industry expectations while ensuring they achieve maximum productivity.”

ACTEGA will also display samples highlighting its ink and coatings portfolio for pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and in-mold labels.
